Times:

  • Preparation: 15 min

  • Freezing: 1 hour

  • Total: 1 hour and 15 minutes

  • Servings: 2-4 (yields approx. 12-16 bites)

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana

  • ½ cup vegan dark chocolate chips

  • 3 tablespoons of water

  • ½ cup of creamy peanut butter

👩‍🍳 Procedure

  1. Prepare the banana sandwiches
Cut the banana into slices about ½ cm thick. Spread peanut butter on half of the slices and top with the other slices to form mini "sandwiches".

  2. Freeze
Place banana sandwiches on a tray and freeze until firm, about 30 minutes.

  3. Melt the chocolate
Place a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water (bain-marie). Add the chocolate chips and water, stirring constantly until the chocolate is smooth and shiny. Remove from heat.

  4. Dip
Quickly insert a toothpick into each frozen sandwich or use a fork to hold them and dip them halfway - or completely - into the melted chocolate.

  5. Let cool
Place the dipped morsels on a tray lined with parchment paper. Return them to the freezer until the chocolate is completely firm, about 10-15 minutes.

  6. Serve or store
Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

    Bon appetit! 🍫🍌🥜
